This is my Audio Portrait of my friend, Justin Escoto. Justin is a second year student at Carleton University studying Journalism. In our interview, he discussed what home means to him, why Windsor feels like home, and why home here in Ottawa is still just a work in progress. Although his group of friends and his community within the Board Games Club at Carleton help make Ottawa feel a little bit more like home, it is still missing one key ingredient - his dad. In this Audio Portrait you will hear the importance of Justin's dad through his childhood, the strong bond they share that evokes that sense of home, and how he has helped shape Justin become the man he is today. Thanks for listening, and I hope you enjoy.
